Field Services Overview
Iteration2's Field Services for Microsoft Dynamics AX is a state-of-the-art Field Force Automation (FFA) solution designed to dramatically improve the delivery of field service through the optimization of key business processes. The Field Services solution provides all the functionality needed to optimize your workforce processes and improve your customer satisfaction and profit margins.
Integrated into the Field Services solution is a strong set of functional modules, including:
Call Center Management
A key feature of Field Services is the Rapid Response Call Taking which provides immediate equipment, job site and name searches, instant access via one-touch, detail views to customer account and job site information, and immediate creation of work order from calls.
Contract Management
Record and enforce contract terms and conditions, apply different billing rates for different types of work and materials, manage service locations, assets and service level agreements, and automatically perform scheduled invoicing and escalations.
Warranty Management
Track manufacturer warranty and other vendor warranties against assets, provides office staff and field workers with visibility of warranty terms and expiration dates to correctly perform service and billing actions.
Asset Management
Field Services lets you track maintenance tasks, repair history and location history for each asset. In addition, you can track costs, revenue and time spent on each asset, provide accurate asset identification and classification via bar codes and serial numbers, and show asset hierarchies which allow for reporting and maintenance management at multiple levels.
Work Order Management
Another important capability of Field Services is its Location-Based view which will allow Operation Supervisors to view and manage Work Orders associated with individual job locations. Field Services employs color-coding and descriptive icons to depict the different types of Work Orders scheduled at each job location.
Scheduling and Dispatch
Field Services display screen Field Services features a powerful Scheduling and Dispatch board to help the Scheduler manage diverse and complex information more efficiently than is currently possible. The Field Services Resource Views allow resources to be scheduled on a daily or weekly basis to perform Work Orders best suited for each field resources' skill sets. With Field Services, the Scheduler can easily drag and drop Work Orders to the appropriate resource or click on the Auto-Scheduling button to have all resources scheduled automatically based on skill set, location, capacity, and escalation.
Crew Management
Field Services allows you to manage crews of workers, vehicle assignments, work calendars, timesheets, and their qualifications.
Project Management
Field Services provides full support for managing a complex collection of tasks and resources with dependencies, time constraints, resource calendars and skill sets. In addition, it allows you to import project plans directly from Microsoft Project.
MapPoint Integration
Microsoft MapPoint integration gives Field Services users a powerful geographical representation of field technician movement, customer job site location and other proximity-based references. Maps can also be incorporated on the mobile devices for users who demand dynamic street-level maps and explicit route directions.
Inventory Management
Track stock levels at warehouses including fixed locations and mobile locations, such as employee vehicles, and automatically adjust stock levels based on usage activity from field workers. Plus, Field Services can handle materials forecasting, bulk ordering, and just-in-time ordering based on scheduled maintenance.
Mobile Device Support
Field Services handheld device Field Services uses Microsoft Mobile platforms including Windows Mobile for Pocket PC, Windows Mobile for Pocket PC Phone Edition, Tablet PC, and Windows Mobile for SmartPhone. Also, we build tailored mobile applications using Microsoft's InfoPath, .NET and Compact Framework development platforms to support simple and complex devices and multiple carriers.
Business Intelligence Reporting
Field Services provides analysis of financial performance, profitability, trends, productivity, and utilization rates. It also provides score cards for field workers, office workers and sales staff, plus support for ad-hoc reporting and rollups via OLAP cubes.
Customer Self Service
Authorized customers can view the status of their work orders, submit new requests, and review service history. Also,the user can register for email updates when work orders are scheduled, started and completed.
